BIO:
The portfolio of artist Stephanie Armbruster is an exploration of urban spaces, populations, and visual textures. Informed by a fascination with architecture, typography and design, Stephanie creates whimsical environments that are unique, familiar and a little absurd.

Founded upon her experiences as a native of the rust belt, the cities depicted in Stephanie's work are informed as much by fiction as reality; the urban environment portrayed in films,books and song lyrics merges with memory and documentation. Hip-hop and electronic music provide the soundtrack to her work, while street art inspires a playful merging of images and architecture.
