BIO:
Christopher Kardambikis has studied at the Lamar Dodd School of Art in Cortona, Italy, the Carnegie Mellon University Inquiry and Vision Program in Sparta, Greece and holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University. Kardambikis is the co-director of Encyclopedia Destructica, a self-published and hand made book operation that presents sketchbook and journal work from artists and writers. Over four years he has overseen the creation of 18 or so books. He was awarded Full Fellowship to the Vermont Studio Center, a Heinz Fellowship for a residency at the Virginia Center of Creative Arts, and was a recipient of the Sprout Seed Award, PA Partners in the Arts Award, and is a resident artist at the Pittsburgh Center of the Arts.
